The 2025 report for County Mayo is presented in this section of the website. It provides information from the survey participants in the 29 schools and centres in the county. It presents the responses of 1,397 15 and 16 year-old pupils who completed their Junior Cycle in County Mayo schools and centres in June 2024. The 2024 Planet Youth survey was completed by these teenagers in November 2024 after their return to school to start their Senior Cycle. The report gives a comprehensive insight into the lives of our young people and what it’s like growing up in County Mayo at the moment. It provides some trend information and shows cross-tabulations that examine some of the risk and protective factors in our teenager’s social environment.
